SEI

The LSU 100 was created by and is run by the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute.  The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute (SEI), an integral part of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, seeks to inspire, innovate, integrate, and implement new ways of thinking, education, research, and outreach to positively impact students, the regional economy, the state of Louisiana, and the nation. This multi-disciplinary, university-wide institute promotes innovative approaches to identifying needs and solving problems through an entrepreneurial view of opportunity recognition and realization.

Focus programs include:

Entrepreneurship Fellows Program Intended to help foster and retain needed talent in the region, this three-semester-long work/study program provides an intensive, high-quality entrepreneurship education to a select group of undergraduate students at LSU. Fellows are selected from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds across campus and are given the knowledge, skills, and contacts to make an immediate impact.

Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Informs, supports, and inspires college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunities through enterprise creation. With a diverse entrepreneurial community and global network, CEO provides student entrepreneurs with opportunities, events, chapter activities, and conferences to help them start businesses.  LSU’s student chapter is one of CEO’s 240 international chapters.
